The traditional adobe compound with its large open courtyard is retained in this almost complete demolition and rebuild. Relationships between interior and exterior spaces are enhanced and seamless in the new contemporary floor plan layouts. Original materials were saved and repurposed throughout the structures and landscape – a memory of place for this riverside setting. ​
